The housing uses electronic controls, so you don't have to worry about "lining up" any buttons, or cleaning/replacing lots of tiny o-rings. All the electronics are built into the monitor back, so you just attach your camera to the removable tray, slide it in, close up the back and you're ready to go!
The handle design places all the key controls for shooting video at your right hand (including one-touch white balance), while the left handle lets you access the complete camera menu. Handles are removable for smaller packing and easy maintenance.
Optics
The Bluefin has a locking bayonet mechanism to mount lenses, and includes an internal flip-down filter (blue- or green-water available) and flip-down macro converter. It ships with a standard flat port. Additional lenses (65-degree wet-mate, super-wide angle, and fish-eye) are also available.
Monitor
The Bluefin comes with a 16x9, 2.7" high resolution Sony LCD monitor back, which runs on 4 AA batteries (lasts for up to 8 hours). You can control contrast, brightness and color using buttons located beneath the monitor.
