Capture
The E-PL7 features the same sophisticated core image processing technology – 16MP Live MOS CMOS sensor, TruePic VIITM processor and In-Body 3-axis Image Stabilization – as the OM-D E-M10, as well as its 81-point AF grid. The TruePic VII engine is powerful enough to handle 8fps at full resolution, and an improved tracking function allows the user to pan on a moving subject and keep it sharp against a defocused background.
Connect
Built-in Wi-Fi and the newly enhanced OIympus Share app let users operate the E-PL7 from their smartphones – including, for the first time, set up and control of video functions – as well as geotag images and transfer to smartphones for effortless sharing. Unique features like a simplified selfie GUI, downward-opening touch screen and customizable interval shooting (with on-screen countdown and AF recalibration after every shot) make fantastic self-portraits easier than ever.
