The Recsea G7X Underwater Housing:

The Recsea aluminum housings are always precision engineered to be small and easy to use. Full camera functionality is always present with high quality dial controls and buttons to match the camera controls. The G7X has recently been announced and will continue this tradition of excellence. Check back for more full details when they become available.

The Canon G7X Camera:

The G7X is Canon's rebuttle to the Sony RX100 which was the first compact camera to feature a 1" sensor. The Canon G7X also features a 1" sensor, the first Canon compact with such a large sensor. With an improved 20 mp and 24-100mm F1.8-2.8 lens, the G7x should work great for underwater photography. In addition users will gain back one very useful feature that the Sony's never adopted: Canon's macro focus mode.

Recsea Canon G7X wet lens options:

Wide-angle - we recommend the Dyron super-wide lens for the widest results. The Inon UWL-100 28M67 also gives very good results, along with the optional Inon dome port. Another option is the Nauticam WWL-1.
Macro - we recommend the Bluewater +7 macro lens. For super macro, you will need to stack two of these lenses. For the highest quality image the Nauticam Compact Macro Converter is excellent.
