Excellent product

I got the Recsea housing for my s95 about 9 months ago, and took it with me to Cozumel. One of the main reasons I opted for this
housing is that it allows for access to all camera functions, something that the other available housings do not provide.
The housing is very well made, with solid construction, compact and easy to use.
O-rings are easily removed for lubrication.
I am using it with an S&S YS-110a strobe, just got the Dyron 16mm fisheye for it with the quick mount attachment,
and plan to add a L&M 1200 focus & video light.
As mentioned elsewhere, it's not a DSLR but it's also not as heavy and bulky and definitely not as expensive as a DSLR,
the photo and video quality is terrific for a compact camera, and allows for switching between macro and wide-angle underwater.
The housing has a small slot in the front which nicely fits a single (moisture muncher) desiccant capsule.
The screw-in strobe cover allows for inserting fiber optic cables for external strobes.
The camera fits tightly in the housing, maybe just a tad too tight; I had to attach a small looped thread to the camera
to be pull it back out. Of course now I have to be careful that the thread doesn't catch between the seals.

Bluewater service was excellent, and they followed up to ensure I received it and
everything was in working order.

Nice!
Does everything it promised and more.
Although a little stiff to open at first, it breaks in nicely.
While the shutter release takes some getting used to it allows the user to auto focus nicely with ful control over the shutter release itself.
No leaks yet...the O-rings are easily removed and reinserted for silicone lubricating.
I highly recommend it.

These have been excellent products.
I have been using the rec sea housing for the canon s95 for almost a year now and have been very happy with it.
the photos taken with it have been used in several exhibitions of my work.
the fish eye is very useful and the macro is very clear.

Bluewater was very helpful and made sure I got the housing in time for my trip...they also provided follow up to make sure I received it and everything was good.

The housing is very nice...machined aluminum, and access to all the controls and dials. No problems or issues. I am using it with a Fisheye Fix UWL-04 and Sea and Sea strobe (forgot which one)...I am a beginner, and it seems like this lens is good for all-around use.

For those who want access to easily change settings on their S95 this is the housing to get. It is well built and easy to use. I bought my ReaSea housing to replace my Ikelite housing, which was fine but I wanted better access to controls. I highly recommend the ReaSea S95 housing.

As far as Bluewater Photo's customer service, they are great! They are knowledgeable, helpful and they are a wonderful resource. When, as a customer, you spend a significant amount of money on equipment like this it is fair to demand excellent customer service, Bluewater Photo has exceeded my expectations!

To those considering the ReaSea, go for it. To those making their first purchase from Bluewater Photo, you will be pleased.

Excellent underwater housing

Best housing I've ever had for an underwater compact camera. The open and close mechanism is easy to use and seems to lock really tightly -- I have no worries that my camera will flood. The case is really compact as well. Excellent for travelling. Buttons are easy to use and have not stuck on me once, even at depth.

The Recsea housing is compact, sturdy, and easy to use - a huge step up from the plastic Canon case we used with our last camera (Flooded in Hawaii). All camera functions are accessible through the housing buttons and the closing mechanism looks foolproof. The whole unit looks and feels so well machined and put together that I can't imagine it flooding any time soon. I am using it with an S&S YS-01 strobe and a L&M Sola 600 focusing light. Took it on a 44 dive trip in the Philippines last month, my first with a strobe set up and using manual mode - so I really gave those buttons a workout - and they performed well. I also bought a macro diopter wet lens to attach to the housing and that too worked great. The quick mount attachment will make swapping out lens' easy and convenient as I get more. It's not a DSLR, but for a point and shoot it has many of the capabilities of a DSLR and I took some great photos (For a rookie!). I really enjoy how compact it is, which makes it nice both when diving and traveling to and from. I highly recommend this housing.

Our camera flooding was a blessing in disguise, as I was becoming frustrated with its limitations and needed to move up. We visited the folks at Blue Water and Scott and his staff listened to what our needs and ambitions were, educated us in all matters concerning underwater photography, and then recommended the perfect set up for us. We couldn't be happier with the service and information we have received at Blue Water, both then and since. I can't wait to take a class with Blue Water soon to improve my underwater photography skills!

I've been using this for 8 months now, and it has been completely trouble free. The controls work smoothly, and getting the camera in and out of the housing is a snap. A very handy feature is the method for attaching accessory wet lenses to the housing. A ring is attached to the front of the housing and wet lenses (wide angle, macro) snap on to this ring with a decisive "click" - this makes it very easy to change from wide-angle to macro in the same dive. Last but not least is the service I received from Blue Water Photo - Scott patiently answered all my questions and worked really hard to set me up with a system that would work well for me. All in all, I am extremely satisfied.

Its small, compact, durable design with full s95 functionality makes this the ideal enclosure. I've used it several times without any issues.

I highly recommend this housing.
