Very Happy with Housing

Average: 5 (1 vote)

Over the last year I have over 100 dives on the Nauticam NA6500 housing and port for Sony 16-50mm lens. There have zero issues with the housing and port. Most of my diving is in chilly SoCal water, and with the extra internal battery pack easily get three dives, typical boat-based dive day, without needing to opend the housing. For resort diving in warm waters, four dives is no issue, and I open the underwater housing to retreive photos, not because of battery concerns.

The other accessory I like is the vacuum port. Build up the camera the night before diving, create the vacuum and the next day with just a glance have confidence of the watertightness of the system.

The Nauticam A6500 underwater housing's rear LCD sceen is easy viewed for judging framing and camera settings thru the housing window. I'm happy with the ergonomics for anything from snorkeling to deep dives with wide angle or macro in strong currents. I can't imagine how a housing could be any better.
