Good value for money

Nice and light housing, easy and practical for travelling. Not very good ergonomics, a bit difficult to manouver underwater, also having difficulties with manual focus gear. Mostly ue to the dial placement. But overall, it is great housing considering the price.

Looking Good!

This is my first housing, so I can't compare it with any others. So far I am very happy with the purchase. The PT-EP10 is very light (positively buoyant) and the buttons easy to use, even with gloves on. The only negative I can report thus far is that the LCD hood keeps falling off, although as it's tethered to the housing that's only a minor annoyance.

I have also tried the Olympus 60mm macro lens in addition to the kit lens, and both work fine inside the housing.

Together with the E-PL5 which is an excellent camera, even a beginner like me can soon be taking some impressive pictures.

*Note if you are planning on using the PT-EP10 together with a wide angle lens and dome port, the housing requires a minor modification, a service that Bluewater can provide. I now wish I'd taken advantage of this service at time of purchase.

Works Well

I have moved up from an Olympus MJU/Tough 8010 and housing to the Olympus Pen E-PL5 & housing. It is a lot bigger package and there was a learning curve there, now after 10 dives it's become very comfortable. What all Olympus housings share (this is #3 for me) is that they are rugged, fairly forgiving, and reasonably easy to use. The PT-EP10 initially required a firm hand to open it although is is becoming better with practice. The controls are easy to use, and positive in their feel. The best bit is that the system gives glorious photos.

Good job!
