The Nauticam Epic LT for RED Epic and Scarlet Underwater Housing is compact, lightweight, and easy to operate. Setup is also a breeze and can be done within a few minutes. It uses the N120 port system which supports multiple lenses. A top mounted Arri Dovetail Plate used to mount the camera in the housing, and an intermediate "block" interfaces between the SWITCHBLADE Module and the housing. The camera can also be installed with Red's quick release plate mounted on the bottom.

Housing Features:

Patented Port Locking System

The Nauticam port locking lever became their signature as it does not twist or require threading action to mount the port. It locks the port securely to the housing. Nauticam also locking port extensions meaning a dome will never twist, even when used with a long extension ring.

Housing Locking Latch

The housing uses easy the secure single rotating housing latch opens the housing back allowing for quick and easy battery or media changes. The latch is also designed to prevent any accidental opening of the housing.

Tool-Free Lens Changing

The housing features an external lens release button which allows EF lenses to be removed while the camera is still installed inside the housing. Any gears, may it be zoom or focus gears, can be swung out of the way with an external lever to allow lens removal.

Cinema Style Zoom and Focus Knobs

Oversized Rubberized knobs for zoom and focus are located on the left handle which provides precise lens control and feature erasable surfaces for zoom/focus marks.

Accessory Mounting

The housing has been designed to have multiple bulkheads, M10 mounts and an integrated 1" ball mount on the handle to support various external equipment such as lights and other accessories.

More Features:

Power Solutions - The housing is designed to seamlessly integrate with the REDVOLT XL Module and REDVOLT XL Battery pack from RED which allows battery change without removing the camera from the housing. Other compatible battery solutions are PAGLink PL96, Anton Bauer Dionic HC with Gold Mount Plate and selected V-Mount Batteries with a V-Mount Adaptor Plate

Integrates with RedTouch 5" Monitor - The housing has a dedicated space for the RedTouch 5" Monitor inside the housing which is also visible through the rear window. It also comes with a removable monitor shade. The monitor swings out when the housing is opened and allows unobstructed access to the cameras batteries and other connections.

Integrated Vacuum Check and Leak Detection System - Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection circuitry is already included with the housing. Combined with the M16 vacuum valve it provides constant updates on the housings seal integrity. This gives the user the peace of mind that the housing is water-tight. The Nauticam system is also temperature compensated, eliminating false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature, or from a camera heating up.
