The MacroMate Mini fetures 55mm threading and is designed to be used with the FLIP Underwater Color Correction System using the included 55mm filter holder adapter. Without corrective optics, the GoPro can only focus on subjects about 1-2ft away underwater. With the MacroMate Mini, the GoPro can focus underwater on subjects as close as 3in away, letting you fill your frame with an object about the size of a golf ball. While the MacroMate Mini works in wide, medium, and narrow video modes, the narrow video mode will give you the sharpest images.
