The Aqualung Transmitter lets compatible wrist computers display tank pressure and gas time remaining wirelessly, eliminating the high-pressure hose from regulator to console. It threads into any standard 7/16 in HP port, pairs permanently with your dive computer to prevent accidental cross-pairing, and runs on a user-replaceable CR2 battery rated for 300 dive hours. Compatible with the i450T, i470TC, i750TC, and i770R.

Product Overview

The transmitter threads into a standard 7/16 in high-pressure port on the first stage and broadcasts tank pressure automatically once the cylinder is pressurized. A 38 kHz low-frequency signal carries pressure data to the paired wrist computer, with optimal reception within 0.91 m (3 ft) and the transmitter oriented parallel or at up to 45 degrees to the computer's antenna. When the cylinder is not under pressure, the transmitter idles to conserve battery life between dives.

Once paired, the transmitter is permanently linked to one computer, preventing accidental cross-pairing on busy dive boats. Compatible Aqualung dive computers support up to three or four transmitters per dive, making the system practical for multi-cylinder and sidemount configurations. Two versions are available: one supporting nitrox mixes up to 40% and one supporting mixes up to 100%, covering both recreational and technical gas planning.

The CR2 lithium battery is user-replaceable without tools and rated for approximately 300 dive hours. Battery voltage warnings appear on the paired computer well before depletion, giving ample time to replace the battery and O-ring seal before the next dive season. Depth-rated to 400 ft (121.9 m), it covers all recreational diving and most technical applications without restriction.

Which Aqualung dive computers are compatible with this transmitter?

The transmitter is compatible with the Aqualung i450T, i470TC, i750TC, and i770R. It is not compatible with other Aqualung computers or third-party dive computers. How do I install the transmitter on my regulator?

The transmitter threads into any standard 7/16 in high-pressure port on a first-stage regulator. Most first stages have one or more HP ports available. How long does the battery last and what type does it use?

The transmitter uses a CR2 lithium battery (3V), which is a commercially available size found at most electronics and dive stores. Battery life is rated for approximately 300 dive hours. Aqualung recommends replacing the battery and battery cover O-ring annually regardless of voltage level. The paired computer displays low-battery warnings when voltage drops below 2.75V (yellow) and 2.50V (red).

Can I use one transmitter with multiple dive computers?

No. Once paired, the transmitter is permanently linked to a single dive computer to prevent accidental data cross-pairing on dive boats where multiple divers may be using the same system. If you need a transmitter for a second computer, you will need to purchase an additional unit.

Can I use multiple transmitters on one dive computer?

Yes. The i450T, i470TC, and i750TC support up to three transmitters per dive, while the i770R supports up to four. This allows multi-cylinder configurations such as sidemount diving or carrying a stage bottle, with each tank's pressure displayed independently on the wrist computer.

Which version do I need for nitrox or oxygen-enriched mixes?

Two versions are available: one rated for nitrox mixes up to 40% oxygen (suitable for most recreational nitrox diving) and one rated for mixes up to 100% oxygen (for technical diving, decompression gases, and pure oxygen).
