The Ecko Fiber system incorporates the latest generation of RC-based TTL logic, allowing the strobe to react in real time as shooting conditions change. When paired with compatible OM System, Olympus, or Panasonic cameras—or with supported TTL transmitters—the system automatically varies strobe output to maintain proper exposure as your subject moves closer, farther away, or crosses uneven lighting zones. This applies equally well to wide-angle scenes and tight macro work.
From a practical standpoint, TTL becomes most valuable when your subject won’t sit still. Fish, turtles, and even small macro subjects can change distance faster than most photographers can manually adjust dual-strobe power dials. TTL removes that lag entirely, recalculating flash output on the fly so exposure stays consistent as the subject swims through the frame.
