Neoprene-Free, Next-Generation Insulation

Greenprene™ is Henderson’s revolutionary insulating foam: 100% neoprene-free, super stretchy, ultra-durable and significantly lighter than traditional neoprene. Formulated from deproteinized natural rubber and other bio-based additives such as sugar cane, plant oils, and oyster shells, Greenprene™ provides outstanding thermal insulation and UV resistance while maintaining a soft, flexible feel in and out of the water. The foam has been tested and approved as a USDA BioPreferred® product, so you can enjoy premium performance with a reduced environmental footprint.

Recycled Laminates & Skin-Friendly Design

The Greenprene™ Fullsuit uses recycled fabric laminates inside and out. The exterior AQUA-SILK® fabric is made from recycled water bottles (88% recycled polyester / 12% spandex) and was selected for durability, abrasion and Velcro® resistance, and fast-drying performance. The smooth hand-feel looks and feels premium while holding up to regular dive use and travel.

Inside, the BIO-SPAN® lining (88% recycled polyester / 12% nylon) also originates from recycled water bottles and offers exceptional warmth, comfort, and “ridiculous” stretch. Both fabrics are AZO-free and Oeko-Tex certified. While Greenprene™ may help divers who experience sensitivities to traditional neoprene, Henderson recommends consulting your doctor and performing a patch test to confirm compatibility if you have a known wetsuit-related allergy.
