Under a Wetsuit 
When wearing Sharkskin™ beneath a wetsuit, ensure the Sharkskin™ garment is snug and well-fitted to your body. This prevents any bunching or discomfort under the wetsuit.
In and Out of the Water
For activities where you are fully submerged or frequently transitioning in and out of the water—such as SCUBA diving, snorkeling, surfing, foiling, wakeboarding, kiteboarding, windsurfing, and performance sailing—opt for a more fitted Sharkskin™ garment. This ensures optimal performance and comfort.
Out of the Water
If you are wearing Sharkskin™ exclusively out of the water for activities like SUP boarding, surfski paddling, recreational kayaking, snow skiing, sailing, or as thermal wear for mountain biking and other outdoor activities, a slightly looser fit may be more comfortable. This allows for better torso rotation and flexibility.
Sharkskin™ Rapid Dry Rash Shirts
The Rapid Dry range is an exception to the fitted rule. These garments are designed to be worn slightly loose, similar to your favorite T-shirt.
Fit Tips
- Looser Fit: Size up or choose the higher end of the sizing scale when comparing your body measurements to the size chart.
- Tighter Fit: Choose the lower end of the sizing scale for a firmer fit.
- Chillproof or T2 Chillproof Garments: Zip up at the narrowest part of your waist, pull the top down towards your hips, and then continue to pull the zipper up.
- Different Sizes for Top and Bottom: Measure both top and bottom measurements separately rather than choosing the same size automatically.
