The Aquatica AF Macro Port is compatible for all Aquatica bayonet-style DLSR housings.
This modular flat port is a more streamlined version of the AF/MF port. It’s the same length of the AF/MF and can also be combined with a wide range of extension rings to accommodate a large selection of macro lenses, ranging from as short as 35mm all the way to 200mm. It can also accommodate lenses equipped with internal close up lenses, teleconverters or extension tubes.
The flat lens is made of BK-7 material, finely polished and coated with a superior Silicon Oxide coating (SiO2) on the external surface. This coating is not only a more resistant type of coating but has a 0.01% reflective index, improving light transmission. Additionally this SiO2 coating is a perfect match to the index of water, which naturally reduces reflections.
The main difference of this port from the AF/MF port, aside from being lighter and narrower, is that it doesn’t have the side mounted knob that can be connected to the manual focus gear.
