FAQ
The 7mm is designed for cold water, generally between 45°F and 65°F (7°C to 18°C). It is well suited for cold-water reef diving, extended sessions, and conditions where a thinner suit would not provide adequate thermal protection.
The ultra-stretch natural rubber construction reduces the stiffness typically associated with thicker neoprene. The Xenos Arc moves more freely than conventional 7mm suits, though some resistance is normal at this thickness.
All seams are triple glued and blindstitched, which significantly limits water penetration at the joints. Combined with the Glideskin Hydrolock wrist seals, internal silicone ankle seals, and Glideskin neck seal, flush protection is thorough across all contact points.
The low-friction arm and leg lining and cut-away back heel notch help with donning and doffing. At 7mm the suit is snug by design, but the ultra-stretch neoprene and heel notch make the process more manageable than conventional thick-neoprene suits.
