Introducing the first light in the Venom Series, the Venom38. Coming in with a blinding 3800 lumens at a very wide and smooth 120 degree beam. iTorch has also included red, and blue (UV) LED’s, so this light will cover you no matter what you are shooting.
The Venom38 includes an LED read out so you can easily see what level your battery is at, and what power level you are currently on. There are four power levels while using the white LEDs, two power levels while using the red LEDs, and 1 level while using the blue LEDs. The light is powered by a rechargeable lithium cell that is enclosed in the tail of the light. Recharging is simple, just unscrew the tail of the light and plug it in to the supplied charger. The light comes with a YS mount so you can easily mount it to your arm system.
I have been using two of the I-Torch Venom8 video lights for underwater video projects the last couple months and it has revolutionized the scenes I can film. Prior to these lights I had two different lights of uneven beam angles and lumens, making video look very poor.
These lights are much more affordable than similar lights and have 3800 lumens! They're also small and lightweight, which is great for travel and for diving in currents, working in tight places for macro shots, etc. Also, you can buy extra batteries so that you can keep shooting all day.
I found the battery power to last just over one dive if using the lights a lot on full power, and two dives if diligent on turning the lights off (instead of lowest power setting) between shots.
These are great video lights!
