Product Overview:
The Marelux MiniBatt MB1500 is a small internal power bank for an underwater camera housing. It connects to the camera’s USB-C port and supplies power while the housing remains sealed, helping extend camera runtime during long dives or extended video recording.
It has:
- 1,500mAh capacity
- Up to 30W USB-C output
- Automatic voltage selection at 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V or 20V
- A compact housing-mounted design measuring about 2.4 × 1.6 × 0.8 inches
Installation involves mounting it inside the Marelux housing and connecting it directly to the camera with a USB-C cable. Marelux’s installation example shows the existing flash trigger being removed to make room for the MiniBatt, so you should verify whether it can be used alongside your particular flash-trigger configuration.
It does not power strobes or video lights. Its purpose is specifically to supplement the camera’s internal battery, provided the camera supports USB-C charging or external USB power while operating.
