Sea & Sea Universal Dome Port

 

The Sea & Sea Universal Dome Port is a revolutionary port that is compatible with all wide angle lenses on Sea & Sea's system port chart. The dome is made of an amazing, novel material called PLANEXT. PLANEXT is an amorphous bioplastic without a crystalline structure. It has a refraction index better than optical glass and it is scratch, impact, and chemical resistant. Most importantly - it's half the price of a glass dome! This makes it the obvious choice for photographers looking for high quality optics in a dome port. With an adapter, the Universal Dome Port, or UDP, is also compatible with Nauticam housings. An AR (anti-reflective) coating can be added on to the port. The dome is rated to 100 meters, or 330 feet.
