Great quality glass port for the 9-18mm wide-angle lens for Olympus brand housings. Also works with the 14-42mm II lens!
Why is this dome great? There is a 25% increase in FOV over the standard Olympus flat port and it retains the in-air field of view of the Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 9–18mm f/4–f/5.6 lens and M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14–42mm f/3.5–f/5.6L lenses.
Compatible with the Olympus OM-D housings when used with the PA-EP08-EP Adapter.

If you are frustrated trying to find a port for you EPM-1 and Olympus PT-E06 housing, look no further; call Blue Water Photo. I spent a lot of time on my own trying to figure out how to get a wide aperture lens to work with the Olympus housing. It simply could not be done.
The Olympus Tech group could only tell me what would not work! It was becoming very frustrating.
I bought my set up from Blue Water and gave them a call about my frustrations. I saw the Zen Dome Port on their web site, but was very concerned about replacing the existing port myself. After talking with the Blue Water staff to better understand the process, I decided to give it a try.
I ordered the Zen Dome Port and a 17mm f1.8 Olympus lens from Blue Water. Got both in yesterday and am exhilarated with the ease of the port change out and the performance of the wide open lens.
If you shoot with a 4/3 and want to shoot wide angle this port is a must! Initially it seems like a pricy investment but that is exactly what it is, and investment! The port itself is well built and presents as a quality piece of gear!
I would highly recommend the port if you have or want to shoot with the fantastic 9-18 or 60mm macro lens
This is one of the smallest dome ports that you can get being 4" or 100mm it is compact, given this the main problem I have found is the image softens about 80% of the way to the edge of the image, so if you dream of super wide and super crisp images to the very edges then don't buy this dome, in fact you are probable using the wrong kit anyway if you are considering this port.
Given that down side I will say it is very well made and looks like factory when fitted up to the Olympus housing.
I use mine with 9-18mm and 14-42mm Olympus lenses and found it to very nice, with the 8-18 performing best at around 12mm and the 14-42 doing nicely right through the zoom.
My entire kit with twin strobes, sola video light and long arms was still the smallest rig on the boat and given the pics I returned home with, I am a happy photographer.
I would recommend this port, keeping in mind the wide angle issues.
I bought this dome port for my trip to the Galapagos. I used it with the 14-42 lens for photographing sharks, sea lions, eagle rays, etc. I used it with the 9-18 lens for photographing whale sharks. It was nice to be able to switch between lenses between dives without changing the port. The dome port is quite small and comes with a nice rubber cap to protect the glass dome when not in use.
Been using this port for about a month now (with the kit 14-42mm until my 9-18mm gets here) and I have been able to get some pretty good shots with decent FOV using it. Excellent quality.
