The Ikelite R50 Underwater Housing is built from solid polycarbonate material which makes it lightweight and great to travel with. It has excellent ergonomics, buttons & lever placement has been well though of. Easy to access even while holding on the tray handle or wearing thick gloves. It also utilizes Ikelite's newer style dry lock (DL) port system.

The Nauticam Canon EOS R50 Housing is built from aircraft-grade aluminum. Great ergonomics are the defining feature of Nauticam housings. The button layout is very intuitive and you can access all of the buttons, switches and dials easily while operating the camera underwater. The housing has to be used with the Canon RF-S 18-45 F4.5-6.3 IS STM Lens as it has an integrated flat port. The housing is compact & versatile as it has a compact footprint. It is compatible with various wet lenses such as WWL-1B wide angle converter lens, Nauticam WWL-C wet lens for wide angle and CMC-1, CMC-2 for macro. It also features an integrated vacuum check and leak monitoring electronics for your peace of mind while shooting.
