The Divevolk SeaTouch 4 Max Plus represents a massive leap forward for smartphone underwater photography. Unlike traditional housings that rely on bluetooth triggers or rigid mechanical buttons, the SeaTouch 4 Max Plus features a unique gel-filled membrane technology. This gives you full, direct touchscreen control over your phone’s native camera application—allowing you to easily swipe between photo, video, time-lapse, and slow-motion modes down to depths of 60 meters (200 ft).

When we tested the SeaTouch 4 housing series off Catalina Island, the full-screen accessibility was a game-changer. Being able to tap-to-focus on micro macro subjects or adjust exposure settings on the fly underwater makes operating a smartphone subsea feel as intuitive as it is on land. The updated Plus model features an expanded internal chamber designed to fit modern, large-format flagships—including the iPhone 12 through iPhone 17 series and popular Android models—using precise 3D-printed adapter trays for a secure, wiggle-free fit.

While the housing provides the base platform, underwater color loss and ambient light falloff require proper lighting and optics to capture vibrant imagery. The Creator Kit builds out a complete, balanced rig right out of the box:
