This high-quality 12mm fisheye lens offers up to a 165 degree angle of view and fits the Recsea housings for the Canon G11, Canon G12, Recsea G15, Recsea G16, and the Fix G10 housing. It's a popular choice with the Recsea GG12 housing. This fisheye lens is awesome, you will not regret getting one!

I’ve had this lens for a few months and recently had a chance to use it while diving the Kittiwake in Grand Cayman. Great wide-angle shots, very crisp. I found shooting from low angles close to the bottom gives a great perspective. My only complaint is there’s no zoom capability which leaves you shooting all wide angles for the dive, hence the 4 stars.
Dyron 12mm Fisheye is a great lens with a good quality , I am using it with a recsea housing for Canon G12 and its really great
No worries about the lens fixation on the house the locking mechanism is excellent not like using a dome with the regular canon housing it might be removed .
for wide-angle shots this lens will be a good choice for wrecks, divers or large area with soft corals..etc
the only disadvantage that you can't zoom with this lens but still you will not regret that you used it
I recently upgraded to the RecSea housing for my G12. I decided to add the Dyron 12mm fisheye because I wanted to get wider angle shots up close and personal to the subjects at hand, without cutting off either end of their body - and without getting some of the exaggerated bowing effect that other fisheyes often produce. So far, I've been pleased with the shots I'm getting.
I got the Dyron 12 mm Fisheye lens for my G11 and my Fix housing. The lens is awesome for wide angle pictures. Picture come out very clear. Great lens for the price. I also gave it a 4 stars because you cannot zoom in or out. Its not a wet lens. Have to decide what you plan to shoot. If you planning to shoot macro then don't put on this lens.
This is a very high quality, well made product. It's simple to attach and use. I got some amazingly fun images that would have been impossible without the fisheye coverage. Opens up many new possibilities in capturing the underwater world. I wish I could attach some photos here! All the images came out very sharp, the optics on this lens is terrific. The only reason I give it four stars is that you can't use the zoom function on your camera while it is attached.
The Dyron Fisheye 12mm lens for the Recsea G12 housing is definitely a must have. It's solid with a bayonet style mount with a good locking mechanism. No worries about it staying in place, as with some of the "wet" mount applications that attach with bungy cords! I can't imagine NOT having it. My ONLY wish was that you could zoom with it, but unlike a dome port on a DSLR, you cannot. That's the ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars.
