Marelux TTL Flash Trigger
The Marelux TTL Flash Trigger provides automated, through-the-lens exposure metering for underwater photography. By converting the camera's electronic hot shoe signals into optical LED pulses, the device triggers external strobes via fiber optic cables. This optical transmission eliminates the flooding risks associated with traditional electronic sync cords while maintaining rapid recycling times.
While Marelux produces a dedicated Marelux manual flash trigger for select Sony and Canon camera housing configurations, this TTL version automatically calculates correct strobe output based on the camera's internal metering. Using a flash trigger underwater with full TTL support allows for precise exposure compensation in dynamic lighting environments, adjustable directly through the camera menus. The compact unit mounts inside the housing, features a built-in Type-C charging port, and includes a real-time battery level status display.
