Kraken Sports KR-S05 Strobe

Introducing Kraken's first strobe, the Kraken KR-S05! The Kraken KR-S02 has now morphed in to the Kraken KR-S05. Reminiscent of their popular underwater video lights, the KR-S05 is very ergonomic, easy to use and functional. The highlight of this strobe is the battery life - offering more than 900 full power flashes! That's definitely enough for more than a few dives. The battery is the same as the battery for the Kraken 5000, so if you want to interchange batteries with your video lights, you can. The ring flash tube produces an even, 90 degree beam with a color temperature of 5000K. There are two 200 lumen spot lights (red and white) that are useful for focusing.

The ergonomics of the strobe are great. Knobs are easy to turn in cold water with gloves. The display on the back shows you the strobe power level, and the number of flashes left.

Although the strobe is a little heavier than comparible strobes on the market, it's quite short in length making it easy to travel with - especially with the Kraken case that's included!
