Retra Soft Diffuser

Retra Soft Diffuser

The Soft Diffuser subtly shifts the color temperature by -200K and reduces light output by just -0.3 F-stop. This subtle tweak makes it particularly well-suited for green water diving, general wide-angle photography, and close-focus wide-angle (CFWA) setups where soft, diffused illumination is required without dramatically altering the natural look of the scene.

Key Features of the Soft Diffuser

• Minimal Power Loss (-0.3 F-stop): Softens harsh shadows and glare while preserving nearly all of your strobe's output power.
• Subtle Color Shift (-200K): Adds a touch of warmth to offset cold water tones without drastically shifting overall color balance.
• Ideal for Green Water & CFWA: Perfectly tuned for cold/green water conditions and close-up wide-angle shots that demand a gentle, natural light spread.
• Bayonet Mount Integration: Features Retra’s quick twist-lock bayonet mechanism for secure attachment and easy operation underwater.
• Safety Tether: Built-in lanyard attachment point keeps your diffuser secure during high-current or surge conditions.
