By shifting the color temperature by -500K, this diffuser adds warmth to your scene—balancing out cold ambient light to reveal natural, saturated colors on coral reefs and pelagic life. It provides a gentle softening effect with a minor output reduction of -0.6 F-stop, allowing you to widen your beam spread while maintaining strong foreground coverage.
