This great new addition to the Bigblue Dive Lights photo/video light family offers many features making it a great choice for any diver. The VL5800PTC or Tri-Color is a self-contained, compact yet powerful, all-purpose dive light - but is best suited for video purposes with a 120° degree beam angle. The 2016 model also boasts 3 color settings - a cool white, warm white, and red mode. This light generates 5800 lumens, and is controlled by a reliable push-button. Also an option in the push-button system is a built-in red LED mode, great for lowering the color temperature and creating a great light for viewing all types of sea life.

The Bigblue VL588PTC Light uses 15 x XML LED plus 6 XPE Red LED for its light source. The color temperature in cool white mode is 6500K and 5500K in warm white mode. The lights lumen output/burn times (Cool White Mode) in level-I is 1450 lumens with a burn time of 12-hours, in level-II, 2900 lumens with a burn time of 6-hours, in level-III, 5800 lumens with a burn time of 3-hours. In Warm White Mode the lumens output is 725 in level-I, 1450 lumens in level-II and 2900 lumens in level-III. (Note: burn time in Warm White Mode same as Cool White Mode).

The light body is manufactured from aluminum alloy with an anti-corrosive black anodized finish. The light lens is tempered optical glass. The light has a double O-ring seal providing a 330' (100 meters) depth rating. The light measures 5.14" x 2.2" (130.6 mm x 55.4 mm), weighs 16.1 oz. (457 g) with batteries and is negative -6.1 oz. (-173 g) underwater

Mounts Included

The VTL3100P comes with a sturdy Goodman-style glove for hands-free operation, a standard 1" ball joint for easy camera set-up, a removable yellow warming filter, a Lithium ion battery and charger. The Big Blue battery design makes it easy to remove and replace the battery in-between dives with an optional spare battery, sold separately.

Secure and Safe Design

All Big Blue video lights are designed with a secure double o-ring, and ship with a spare set of o-rings so you are always prepared in case of emergency. All Big Blue lithium batteries meet airline carryon restrictions and are manufacturered with a built in protection circuit in the battery.
