Product Overview:

It's everything you love about an Ikelite DSLR Underwater Housing, shrunk down into a perfectly-sized package for travel. The housing is built from the new white ABS-PC blend material which makes it lightweight and durable. In terms of ergonomics, the housing has designed that the buttons, levers and dials are readily available at your fingertips and easily accessible. The housing also ulitizes DLM/A port system which is compatible with lots of camera lenses. 

Difference from Previous Version:

• Larger curved shutter lever
• Option to extend shutter lever for easier access, no need to remove your hand from the tray when shooting
• TTL converter is now optional. It now allows the user to switch between TTL and manual exposure with the press of a button.

Housing Features:

• Ergonomics - All important camera controls are accessible thru the housing. Buttons, dials and lever are accessible and easy to operate even while wearing thick gloves.
• Setup - Front loading design for easy installation of camera.
• Seal System - Rear seal design prevents the o-ring to be twisted or stretched accidentally. 2 stainless steel locking snaps securely locks the rear clear back to the housing for a watertight seal.
• Optional Vacuum Accessory Port - The housing features an accessory port for vacuum valve. The Ikelite Vacuum Kit allows you to draw out air from the housing and test the seal integrity even before diving. This gives you the peace of mind that the camera is safe inside the housing.
• Strobe Firing - Strobes can be triggered by either using electronic sync cords or fiber optic cables.
• Port System - The housing uses the Ikelite DLM/A port system which supports various lenses.

About the Sony A6000 Camera:

Built around a 24 MP APS-C sensor, hybrid autofocus, and a continuous shooting speed up to 11FPS, the Sony a6000 promises the shooting style and image quality of a DSLR in a compact package. The a6000 adopts the same gapless on-chip lens structure as the a7R and features a new-generation RGB color filter (first introduced on this model). Sony says that this technology will significantly increase light collecting efficiency. The top-mounted control dial and rear-mounted control wheel allow quick settings that vary depending on the shooting mode (including exposure, ISO and WB). In addition, there is a Fn (function button) and seven customizable buttons, including two dedicated custom buttons.
