Patented Port Locking System

The housing uses the same port locking system as its Nauticam DSLR housings. There is no twisting or threading action that is required to mount a port, and it locks securely in place with this lever. Nauticam also offers locking port extensions, meaning a dome will never twist, even when used with a long extension ring.

Housing Locking Latch

The single housing locking latch is very easy to use and requires very minimal hand strength to operate. With the single latch, the back plate opens via a swing arm, and closes by swinging the back plate back and closing the latch.

The S1R II’s video/still mode selection switch is now conveniently accessed via a lever on top of the housing, allowing you to switch modes quickly and effortlessly underwater.
