The OM System TG-7 is a rugged, go-anywhere compact camera designed for adventure and close-up discovery. Its bright f/2.0 high-speed lens and 12MP Hi-Speed image sensor deliver cleaner, more detailed results in low light, aided by an anti-reflective coating that minimizes flare and ghosting. A Dual Quad Core TruePic™ VIII processor powers fast performance, RAW/JPEG capture, and 4K plus high-speed video, while the upgraded 3" LCD with 1.04 million dots provides clearer viewing in the field.
Built for exploration, the TG-7 features an enhanced Microscope mode—now usable in Program and Aperture Priority—for stunning close-ups, along with a comprehensive Field Sensor System (GPS, manometer, compass, and temperature). Fully waterproof to 50 feet, shockproof, freezeproof, and crushproof, it’s ready for harsh environments. With built-in Wi-Fi, a compact 113 × 66 × 31.9 mm body, and a lightweight ~250 g design, the TG-7 is a powerful, portable tool for documenting adventures anywhere.
In addition to the TG-7 body itself, many underwater photographers pair it with the rugged Housing from Ikelite. These Ikelite underwater housings are engineered to protect your TG-7 to depths of around 60 m (200 ft), offering full access to camera controls with ergonomic levers and buttons that are easy to operate while diving. The housing’s durable ABS-PC construction is corrosion-resistant, provides slightly positive buoyancy in fresh water, and accepts accessory ports and wet lenses (with 67 mm threads) to expand capabilities for wide-angle and macro shooting. With room for optional strobes, trays, and lighting arms, this system turns the tough, compact TG-7 into a versatile underwater imaging rig for everything from snorkeling to deep scuba dives.
